DJ Septik mix, is a serious demonstration of artistic hybrid of dancehall, afro beat, pop, R&B, and EDM served on a base of north and south East Asian orientalism. Particularly, the sitar and drums creates an irresistible vibe. We have this tune on replay for the past four hours. Time to drop this tune in the club and at the office party, no one is going to sit this dance out.
As for the remainder of the album, Ding Dong, Fling (Yuh Shoulda), gives a mainstream vibe. Taking it to a higher level are the strings and percussion, which adds a sophisticated vibe. Also, Alkaline, Girl Team, as usual the rhythm hushes the naughty lyrics. This sets the stage for the refined bad gal to bruk out while the conservatives fall in love with the groove.
