VP Records presents Soca Gold 2019. An annual compilation album of prime soca songs featuring legendary and rising artists as Tony Prescott, Sean Caruth, Nessa Preppy X Travis World, and Kes. Set for release June 28, just in time to celebrate the arrival of summer. Also, a fantastic addition to the playlist of Strictly the Best Reggae Volume 58 and Dancehall Volume 59 presently available on all platforms.

An overview of the compilations shows the wide reach of this album. A dimensional project representing the range of styles in soca music. Everything from easy listening to waving a flag and mashing up the place. Simplifying the transitions of moods and bridging generations at every fete.

By way of Nessa Preppy X Travis World’s “Issa Snack,” which strengthens the party vibe. The lyrics, written by Nessa Preppy and Kern Rose, are relevant and memorable. And the rhythm is engaging. Just got to get up and dance.
