Beres Hammond: Land Of Sunshine

Beres Hammond presents the second song, “Land of Sunshine,” from his new reggae album, Never Ending. Scheduled for release with VP Records, October 12, 2018, the album of 14 songs also features the work of renowned musicians as Willie Lindo, Kirk Bennett, Handel Tucker, Errol ‘Flabba’ Carter, Leroy & David Heywood aka “Mafia & Fluxy,” Winston ‘Bopee’ Bowen, Dean Fraser and Robbie Lyn. Another quality centered and reputable body of work for seasoned and new fans of reggae to add to their collection.

Today, it is increasingly challenging to discern quality music. Affixed between cultural relativity and the ability to confidently identify excellence in music on a universal platform is like carefully navigating the boundaries between dialects. Dependent on the shared values we either unite or divide relationships. But one thing is certain, principles founded on quality and universal good meet at every border. And somehow, we extend a gentle gesture, a supportive hand, and a smile that transform the foreigner to a friend. Thankfully, we are fortunate to witness this in living time because Beres Hammond sets and reinforces these standards with every song, album, and performance.

In agreement with Uncle Beres’s boasting of the sweetness of Jamaica, worldwide this lively rhythm will influence the lives of many. The horn section is a zesty blast of positivity. And the drums and bass guitars are the foundation of the composition, solid and consistent throughout. Moreover, Uncle Beres’s vocals are piercingly clear. And unique to his talent, is Uncle Beres’s gift of delivery that fills your heart with the joy of life and loving the people in it. From the one person party in the car to the festivals in near and far reaching places, we communicate our love for music and culture. One love Uncle Beres. ©
