Christopher Martin presents the first single, “Life,” from his imminent album, And Then… with VP Records Music Group. Produced by Omar Anthoneil Samuels and Cory William Stoneman, “Life” is available on all platforms on March 1, 2019.

Having the opportunity to view Christopher’s live concerts, we are amazed at his ability to give all that he has to the audience; strong vocal performance and stage presence, audience engagement, and band coordination. Areas demanding investments in time and effort long before he arrives at center stage. To the extent, while many entertainers rely on the audience to energize their performances, Christopher gets the audience moving from the first note, which is perplexing challenging with reggae and dancehall concerts. Since, every artist has an additional marker beyond talent, Christopher’s strength in engagement with the masses is of key interest.

At this point, we know it takes more than talent to achieve success. Credibility and continuity are paramount. Consequently, it is exceptional to note this same level of transference and engagement is also evident in Christopher’s sound recording, which is arguably more difficult to accomplish.

From the first note of the keys on this song, we are aware of quality sound engineering, a balanced rhythmic production, and clear vocals. Each instrument clearly defined with a well place pitch at the beginning. And the fusion of pop and dancehall vocals blended with a dancehall narrative is creativity at its best.

Looking forward to the album, And Then...
